35mm Portrait Sessions
Portraiture has always been a much-loved part of my practice. I have had the opportunity to sit with some of the most renowned artists, like Nick Cave, Billie Eilish and Amanda Gorman. Whoever I am shooting it always comes down to the same: I want that person, you, to feel at ease, to feel powerful and to feel seen - perhaps in a way you would have never thought of before. I will craft an intimate experience and we will come away with images that are timeless and truly you.
As an artist, 35mm film is my chosen medium of expression. Shooting film offers us a chance to slow down, together. Every frame is carefully considered, which offers us an environment to create, free of distractions so we can find those magical fleeting moments.
Aesthetically film offers colors, textures, and imperfections (perfections to me) that can’t be replicated otherwise. Film is where my best and most loved images have been created. I cannot wait to share this experience with you.
The Details
We will shoot five rolls of film in a location of your choice. Prior to the shoot we will have a call to craft our concept together and organize a date.
Upon shooting, the films will be taken to my favorite lab in NYC where they will be carefully processed by hand (rare to find these days). Once ready, I will collect the negatives and scan them myself, which allows me to put my personal touch on every frame. A set of high resolution images will be available for you within four weeks from our shoot date.

* If you prefer to shoot more than five rolls of film, get in touch to discuss additional costs.
